Dr Shiva Abbassi-Ghadi

Shiva graduated with honours from the University of Bristol in 2008, winning several undergraduate awards including prizes in clinical endodontics and a national award for her elective project based on dental materials. She was awarded 'Best Clinical Case' by Kent Surrey and Sussex deanery on completion of her post graduate foundation training. After graduation she thoroughly enjoyed working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. During this time she passed her membership exams for the joint dental faculties RCS (Eng). The skills and knowledge she developed during this period have served her well in general practice. Shiva has since furthered her dental education by obtaining a PGCert in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry. She is certified provider of the 'Invisalign' tooth straightening system and dedicates a large amount of her clinical time to creating healthy straight smiles. She has lived in Guildford for most of her life, and is proud to be serving the community she grew up in with an enthusiastic and friendly approach to her dentistry. Her spare time is dedicated to her young family.​ Please be advised that from August 2021 Shiva will work Tuesdays at Northdene on a Private basis only. She is happy to see new and existing patients.
